Qatar Airways is pleased to announce a codeshare partnership with Air Botswana, offering Qatar Airways travellers enhanced access to three key destinations in Botswana, Africa.
Partnerstvo z nacionalnim letalskim prevoznikom Bocvane Air Botswana bo potnikom Qatar Airways omogočilo povezave do bocvanskih mest Gaborone, Francistown in Maun prek južnoafriškega prehoda Qatar Airways -a v Južnoafriški republiki Johannesburg. Qatar Airways opravlja lete dvakrat dnevno med Johannesburgom in najsodobnejšim vozliščem, mednarodnim letališčem Hamad v Dohi, z nadaljnjimi leti na več kot 150 destinacij po vsem svetu.
The new codeshare agreement allows business and leisure travellers fast and convenient access to the home of Botswana’s rich mineral industry, abundant game reserves, and luxury safari lodges. Botswana’s luxurious tourism experiences are complemented by Qatar Airways’ ultra-modern fleet of aircraft featuring the world’s best Business Class on services to South Africa.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Our new codeshare agreement with Air Botswana will offer even greater opportunities for passengers from across our global network, especially from key markets in Europe and Asia to easily connect with popular destinations in Botswana, to take advantage of exclusive leisure experiences.
“Codeshare partnerships and airline alliances continue to play an important role for Qatar Airways. We are committed to serving the travel needs of the African market and the addition of Air Botswana flights to Qatar Airways’ route network is an important expansion of our network.”
Južnoafriška regija je pomemben trg za Qatar Airways s tremi destinacijami v Južni Afriki, med njimi Johannesburg, Cape Town in Durban ter na vzhodu Maputo v Mozambiku. Širitev v tej regiji je ključni poudarek družbe Qatar Airways, ki je 28. septembra uvedla prevoze v namibijsko prestolnico Windhoek, sledila bo Lusaka v Zambiji, decembra 2016 pa nadaljevanje storitev na Sejšelih.

Popotniki, ki se povezujejo z globalno mrežo Qatar Airways iz južne Afrike, bodo imeli dostop do več kot 150 destinacij in si bodo še naprej prizadevali, da bo Qatar Airways razširil svoj svetovni doseg, v letu 2016 pa bodo dodali več kot ducat novih destinacij za raziskovanje. Letos je letalska družba uvedla poti v Adelaide (Avstralija), Atlanto (ZDA), Birmingham (UK), Boston (ZDA), Helsinke (Finska), Los Angeles (ZDA), Marakeš (Maroko), Pizo (Italija), Ras Al Khaimah (ZAE), Sydney (Avstralija), Windhoek (Namibija) in Erevan (Armenija). V naslednjih nekaj mesecih bo mreža še rasla s Krabijem (Tajska) in Sejšeli.
